wollte mal ubuntu und knoppix anschauen und bringe knoppix auf meinem laptop nicht zum laufen. auf dem desktop pc funzts. ubuntu funzt bei beiden problemlos ... juhuuuu ;-)
laptop: toshiba portege an docking station, win2000, red hat 9, 512mb ram
desktop: fujitsu, win xp, 1gb ram
ubuntu 5.04 live
knoppix 3.9 und 3.8 live
starte ich knoppix auf dem laptop tretten folgende fehler auf:
[...]
cardmgr[1507]: operation failed
cardmgr[1507]: start cmd exited with status 1
modprobe: fatal: error running install command for sound_slot_0
[...]
scanning for harddisk partitions and creating /etc/fstab…
… weiter geht es nicht, hier bleibt die installation stehen :-(
drehe ich die lautstärke auf ertönt ein pfeifen (rückkopplung?)
folgendes hab ich schon porobiert:
(0) iso images mit md5 file validiert
(1) bios update
(2) laptop mit knoppix ohne docking station zu booten
... hat nichts gebracht ...
was nun? warten bis knoppix 4 mit kernel zum download bereitsteht?
