IBM Thinkpad R40 mit Bluetooth aufrüsten

Hi alle miteinander,
ich habe ein IBM Thinkpad R40 ohne Bluetooth. Wenn ich das aber richtig sehe ist das Board selbst Bluetooth-ready es fehlt nur der Empfänger den man sich als Ersatzteil bestellen könnte. (siehe Part 14 in FRU-Part List)
Weiss zufällig jemand ob das funktionieren würde, hat es selbst schonmal gemacht bzw kann mir tipps geben?
Ich will eher keinen Bluetooth Adapter mit mir "rumschleppen" (verlier ich vermutlich sowieso oder hab ihn dann nicht da, wenn ich ihn brauch *g*)

Da brauchst du definitiv "nur" Part 6 (Communications daughter card Bluetooth/Modem Combo card).
Die Antenne haben alle R40 schon integriert!

Q: Can I add BlueTooth to my non-BlueTooth X31?
A: The BlueTooth module is part of the modem module, and is replaceable (theoretically; I've never done it myself). There are instructions in the Hardware Maintenance Manual on how to remove/install the model module. The Anandtech review shows pictures of the module, if you're interested. The specific FRU # for the BlueTooth/modem module is 91P7259. Note: the non-BlueTooth models of the X31 will not have the BlueTooth status LED.
