Das Bios auf meinem Laptop ist von SystemSoft MobilePro (2482-00)-R1.07. Da ich auf dem Laptop nun Windows XP installieren möchte, muss ich wohl das Bios vorher updaten. Wo kann ich ein Update finden, da SystemSoft ja kein Bios mehr vertreibt.

Dann ist die Kiste definitiv ein Clevo 1300P (1100P) (bei Gericom Meisterstück-1100PT).

Übrigens ist AFAIK auch das neueste Bios nicht ganz ACPI kompatibel.
=> XP ohne ACPI installieren.
Mit Biosupdate laufen da aber definitiv 2,5" Platten bis 30GB.
So eine Platte und mehr RAM machen die Kiste erheblich schneller.
