Ich bin ziemlich neu in der Exchange-Dynastie:
Ich habe das Problem, dass ich einige Rechner im Netz habe, die derzeit noch POP3 verwenden.
Diese haben teilweise mehrere E-Mailadressen gespeichert.
Nun will ich aber, dass alle E-Mailadressen am Exchange laufen. Ich bin da hoffnungslos überfordert.
Kann mir da wer helfen ???

darf ich mal die Exchange-Hilfe bemühen?
smart host
A designated server through which Exchange routes all outgoing messages. The smart host then makes the remote connection. If a smart host is designated, the Exchange server only needs to transmit to the smart host, instead of repeatedly contacting the domain until a connection is made. Also known as a relay host.
Aber wer will schon behaupten, dass MS sich an allgemeingültige Begriffsdefinitionen hält.
Ich habe das halt erst im Zusammenhang mit Exchange gehört.
