Hallo, habe ein kleines großes Problem mit meinem NT Workstation 4.0 System. Nachdem ich meinen Rechner ins Netz bringen wollte und die nötigen Änderungen vorgenommen habe bekomme ich nun nach dem booten jedesmal die Meldung das mindestens ein Systemdienst nicht gestartet werden konnte. Das Ereignisprotokoll zeigt ID 1001 an mit der Beschreibung, daß autochk nicht gestartet werden konnte und dies zu einer Beschädigung des Laufwerks führe. Dann sei autochk wieder aufgenommen worden, habe das Laufwerk geprüft und keine Fehler festgestellt.
Folgende Änderungen hatte ich vorgenommen:
- Netzwerk mit Ras und allem drum und dran installiert
- Elsa Microlink Modem extern + Software installiert
- Operabrowser mit Java installiert
- IE von Version 2.0 auf 5.5 aktualisiert

Vielleicht weiß ja jemand von euch woher der Fehler rührt. Vielen Dank im Voraus Karlma

Explanation:
The computer using the network adapter with this address will not have an Internet Protocol (IP) address.

User Action:
Make sure that the computer is physically connected to the network and that the network adapter is configured correctly. If both of these are so, check with the network administrator to make sure that there is a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server and that this server is currently running the DHCP service. If the DHCP server exists and is running the DHCP service, try using the ipconfig command from the command prompt to release the current IP address and get a new IP address.

Explanation:
The Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server service cannot start. The system is probably out of memory, or the Registry might be corrupted.

User Action:
Restart your computer, and try again. If you continue to receive this message, try removing and reinstalling DHCP by using the Network option in Control Panel.
