CPU-Upgrade (Pentium II auf ?)

Hallo!


Ich habe mit sandra international 2002 einen Blick in die technischen Daten meiner Hardware geworfen. Nachdem sandra die Daten aufgelistet hat, gab mir folgenden Hinweis "Performance Tips: Tip T210 : Mainboard supports faster CPUs, so the CPU can be upgraded when needed.


Notice N224 : SMBIOS/DMI information may be inaccurate.


Tip T219 : A SSE(2) processor is recommended for modern multimedia applications and games."


Wenn ich den Tipp T210 richtig verstehe, kann ich einen schnelleren Prozessor einsetzen, wenn ich das möchte. Welcher Prozessor ist gemeint?

klingt verdammt nach dem Trinity 400-S1854 (-A) von Tyan.

wenn dem so ist: neustes bios saugen (www.tyan.com/support/html/b_tr_400.html), flashen und wenn du nun weder die revision "9900Y" oder "9900YA" hast, dann kannste ne gaaanze menge CPUs nützen: http://www.tyan.com/support/html/PentiumII_III_PPGA.html

Ich habe mir die Seite angesehen. Kann ich denn die genannten CPUs einfach einsetzen? Ich meine ohne Adapter oder sonstige extras?
