Im Song "Jesus of Suburbia" von Green Day (zu finden auf dem neuen Album "American Idiot") kommt bei ungefähr 6:00 min ein recht bekanntes Hintergrundthema. Ich wollt mal wissen, ob zufällig jemand den Titel des Originalssong kennt, aus dem dieses Thema stammt.

Das ist der Songtext. Ich suche aber einen Original-Song, auf dem das Hintergrundthema von Part IV "Dearly beloved" basiert. Gab es vielleicht mal einen Song mit demselben Titel? Mir kommt die Melodie so bekannt vor, kann es aber überhaupt nicht zuordnen?
Gut, als Jahrgang 1984 kann ich auch nicht auf die Musikerfahrung zurückblicken, die einige ältere Semester hier haben.
Der Song "Jesus of Suburbia" ist übrigens ein echter Fortschritt bei Green Day, man merkt doch einen deutlichen Reifungsprozess gegenüber den früheren Punk Rock Titeln.

Eben hab ich bei Google einen Song gefunden von "Glenn Miller" mit dem Titel "Dearly beloved". Ich glaub, ich verfolge hier eine ganz heiße Spur ;-).
