darauf würde ich nicht wetten wollen ;o)...ich würde da eher auf öl, einfluß im mittleren osten und andere eher materielle gründe tippen.
die welt hat sich nicht gerührt, als saddam 1000de kurden mit giftgas getötet hat (an was erinnert mich das gerade), die usa waren aber plötzlich moralische entrüstet und schritten ein, als der irak einen krieg gegen das ölland kuweit gestartet hat. den lerneffekt in moralischer hinsicht sehe ich in diesem fall eher nicht.
ps: in afghanistan gibt es pipelines für öl...
