Verfolgung starten Optionen

WLAN-Verbindung will einfach nicht

Moin,
ich habe auf einem ThinkPad X201 Ubuntu 16,04 LTS installiert, und es will asolut nicht mit der WLAN-Verbindung klappen.

Ich habe einen Telekom-Anschluss VDSL mit dem Router W724V. Bei allen anderen Geräten, auch bei einem anderen Ubuntu-Gerät, funktioniert alles ganz ausgezeichnet.

Bei diesem hier werden immer wieder Kennwörter verlangt, die ich auch alle genau eingegeben habe: Gerätepasswort, WPA2-Schlüssel und WLAN-Name (SSID), aber bei keinem dieser Eingabe funktioniert die Verbindung.

Hat jemand für mich einen Tipp?

Das neueste Bios ist da schon drauf?

Sonst im Bios die Defaults laden und speichern.

Zuerst einmal habe ich Unsinn erzählt: es handelt sich um einen X200, was aber ziemlich unerheblich ist.

Ob das aktuelle BIOS drauf ist, weiß ich natürlich nicht. Ich stehe erst einmal bei den Downloads bei Lenovo auf dem Schlauch: Man soll da ja immer das betreffende Betriebssystem eingeben, wobei es sich immer um Windows dreht. Von Ubuntu keine Spur.

Ich kann ja ohne WLAN mit dem X200 auch nicht bei Lenovo das System scannen.

Was soll ich denn machen? So viel Ahnung habe ich ja auch nicht.

Du kannst eine LAN-Verbindung zum Router herstellen und darüber ins Internet gehen, bis das WLAN-Problem gelöst ist.

Die CD brennt man da als Image und bootet von sellber!

1. Firmly connect the AC adapter to the target computer. 2. Make sure it has an optical drive installed. 3. Turn off the computer. 4. Turn on the computer. 5. While the "To interrupt normal startup, press the blue ThinkVantage button" message is displayed at the lower-left area of the screen, press the F12 key. Boot Menu will be displayed. If a password prompt appears,type the correct password. 6. Insert the BIOS Update CD into the optical drive. 7. Select USB CD or ATAPI CD0 to set up the boot drive. USB CD: when using a USB optical drive ATAPI CD0: when using an Ultrabay Slim optical drive installed in the ThinkPad UltraBase Then, the computer will be rebooted from the BIOS Update CD. 8. Select Read this first from the menu and carefully read the information. 9. Press the Esc key to return to the menu. 10. Select Update system program and follow the instructions on the screen. 11. After the information panel appears, remove the BIOS Update CD from the optical drive then press the Enter key to restart the computer.

4. Locate the BIOS Version line and Embedded Controller Version line. "BIOS version (BIOS ID)" will be shown on the BIOS Version line.
5. Turn off the computer.

Und die installierte Bios Version steht natürlich im Bios!

Im Prinzip sind wir mit allem durch und was noch übrig bleibt, ist die Macke des Schiebeschalters oder eine kaputte WLAN-Karte:

Ich danke euch allen für die vielen Hinweise und Links, die mir jetzt helfen werden, in die Geheimnisse des X200 und des WLANs einzutauchen.

Das wird naturgemäß aber etwas dauern.

Nein, da ist definitiv kein Wackelkontakt,

Wenn ich mir das 'Netzwerk' anzeigen lasse, erscheint dort mein WLAN. Klicke ich das an, erscheint davor ein Häkchen und kurz danach ein Bild 'Legitimierung für Funknetzwerkwird benötigt'

Wenn ich nun das gewünschte Passwort eingebe, den WLAN-Schlüssel (WPA2) oder aber das Gerätepasswort, erscheint hinterher gar nichts. Es zeigt sich das 'Netzwerk', aber ohne Häkchen.

Die ganze Sache kann jetzt wieder von vorne losgehen.
