Hallo zusammen,
ich habe ein altes Notebook mit einem Mitac 6133 Motherboard.
Da es größere Festplatten und schnellere CPU nicht erkennt, möchte ich das BIOS 1.08 updaten.
Hat jemand erfolgreiche erfahrung mit dem flashen ?
Habe eine Bootdiskette erstellt.
zusätzlich ist Miflash.com, project.bin und R117.bin auf der Diskette.
Flashe ich mit dem Befehl: MIFLASH R117.BIN /UB ?
Was bedeutet /UB ?

n : Sub-option with quick update.
b : Update BIOS and BootBlock.
s : Update BIOS and Serial number in BootBlock.
e : Enforce update without checking MECT table.

Bei /UB wird auch der Bootblock neu geschrieben, /U reicht normalerweise aus.
