Amarok nur mit sudo? + Arial unter Ubuntu?

Hallo,

also folgendes. Ich hätte gerne ein Problem, naja so sagt mans, und so ist es leider auch momentan.

Ich hab mir Amarok aus den Paketquellen von Ubuntu 6.10 installiert. Das Programm ist auch da, funktioniert, blos tut es das nur mit dem Befehl "sudo".

Es ist ein Problem bei der Einrichtung der Kommunikation
zwischen den KDE-Prozessen aufgetreten. Die Meldung des Systems
lautete:

Could not read network connection list.

Bitte vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Programm "dcopserver" läuft!

Frage: Liegt das an falsch gesetzten Rechten? Bzw, ich nehme es mal schwer an, dass es daran liegt. Bin aber momentan etwas blind diesbezüglich. Achso und ich verwende Gnome und nicht KDE, für welches Amarok (gemacht(?)) ist. Kann darin auch ein Fehler begründet sein?

Noch etwas, mit Kaffeine verhält es sich auch so, wird nur mit sudo gestartet.

Danke schon mal, wer bis hier gelesen hat. Nun das 2. Problem, ich brauche demnächst für mehrere Projekte die Schriftart Arial. Speziell diese wird verlangt, sie scheint aber bei mir zu fehlen. Wie kann man sie einrichten/installieren? Eine Windows Partition gibt es auch noch, falls ich deren Dateien brauche.

(EDIT) hab den Ordnerzugriff jetzt geändert, der war wirklich falsch gesetzt. bewirkt aber nur, dass ich jetzt nicht mehr den Fehler mit dem Ordnerzugriff bekomme.
