AHCI auf Asus P5Q Deluxe mit Windows XP

Habe ein Asus P5Q Deluxe mit Windows XP Prof SP3. Im Bios steht die Festplatte (Samsung 750GB) auf IDE. Wenn ich auf AHCI umstelle, startet Windows nicht mehr.

Wenn ich das Matrix Storage Manager Programm installieren möchte kommt die Meldung "Dieses System erfüllt nicht die Mindestanforderung für die Installation der Software"...

Nun tat ich folgendes:

-> Intel Matrix Storage Manager 8.5.0.1032 herunterladen

"1. Aus dem Entpackt Ordner/Driver32 (wenn du ein 32 bit system nutzt) die IaStor.sys
nach C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers kopieren .

2. ICH10R-AHCI.REG ausführen und Neustarten

3. Im Bios die Platten auf AHCI stellen und Bios speichern .

4. Die iata85_cd.exe installieren .

So hat das bei mir wunderbar geklappt . "

Nach punkt 3 fährt wie gesagt Windows aber nicht mehr hoch! Wie soll ich genannte Datei installieren?

Jemand eine Idee? zur not Windows neu installieren und über Diskette die Treiber installieren?!

So läufts definitiv:

# Start the BIOS Setup Utility menu.
# Select Config.
# Select Serial ATA (SATA).
# Select Compatibility.
# Install Windows XP and Service Pack 2.
# Download Intel Matrix Storage Manager Driver from the Web site and extract the driver to C:\DRIVERS\WIN\IMSM.
# Run Intel Matrix Storage Manager Driver. To do this, go to C:\DRIVERS\WIN\IMSM\PREPARE, and double-click install.cmd.
# Turn the computer off and then on again.
# Start the BIOS Setup Utility menu.
# Select Config.
# Select Serial ATA (SATA).
# Select AHCI.
# Start Windows XP. The Welcome to the Found New Hardware Wizard appears.
# Click No, not this time and click Next.
# Select Install from a list or specific location(Advanced), then click Next.
# Select Search for the best driver in these locations. Then select Include this location in the search:, specify the path, C:\DRIVERS\WIN\IMSM, and click Next. The Completing the Found New Hardware Wizard appears.
# Click Finish.
# When the System Settings Change window appears, click Yes. The computer restarts.

Punkt 3. im Bios: Select Serial ATA (IDE?)

Punkt 6+7: IMSM Driver? Also die 22,4MB Große .exe Datei? Wenn ich diese starte, bekomme ich eine Fehlermeldung "Dieses System erfüllt nicht die Mindestvoraussetzungen für die Installation der Software.

Wenn ich sie mit dem Pfad "c:\temp\iata85_cd.exe -a -a" extrahiere, finde ich nur die iastor.sys und iaahci.sys. Und nicht die "install.cmd"

wie komme ich an die install.cmd ran?

1. IDE Compatibiltiy Modus natürlich auswählen.

2. Mit diesem Intel Matrix Storage Manager Driver läufts und zwar wirklich definitiv:
