Habe weiter unten schon mal nachgefragt was ich machen soll wen mein BIOS meine HD nicht erkennt.Es Würde mir vorgeschlagen eine Promise zu kaufen also einen IDE-Controller für PCI-Schnittstelle.Wo bekomme ich soetwa in deutschland?Am besten im Versant und welcher ist da entfelentswert?

Übrigens läuft die Platte so (mit 32 GB) auch ohne zusätzlichen Controller:
1.Do not jumper the drive for the 32 GB clip.
2.Attach the drive to the problem computer and enter SYSTEM BIOS. Select "None" for the drive in question. Save settings and shutdown.
3.Boot to the Disk Manager diskette. [Depending on system configuration, Disk Manager may take a minute or two to boot.]
4.From the Main Menu, select Advance Options -> Maintenance Options -> Utilities -> Your Drive -> Set Drive Size. At the "Set Drive Size" screen, press "Enter" to accept the suggested Total Sectors value.
5.Reboot, enter SYSTEM BIOS, change the settings for the drive to "Auto" – "Auto", exit SYSTEM BIOS and reboot.
6.Run Disk Manager to complete the drive installation.

Du mußt aber den Diskmanager deines Plattenherstellers verwenden.
